In a distant future. the world faced extinction because of the war that they left behind, a war caused by an economic crisis. Greed saw wealthy organizations formed their own alliance and seek to claim what they can when the opportunity arrived, eventually making enough mess to be called terrorists.
As time passed, the coalition of governments which eventually formed the supreme government, decided to establish a direct attack against the terrorist with the help of affiliated corporations, they invented powerful humanoid weapons called SYNX technology and eventually obliterated the opposing forces in less than a day. The remnants of these terrorists recognized that the supreme government also lost a large amount of military force due to the war. As they became desperate, the corporation Asylum presented their black project called PROJECT CHRONOS. This project uses cloned pilots that can do many combat missions and last for a while.
One female scientist volunteered for the project and gave birth to two healthy female children
they are called 001 and 002, the former, original, the latter, a clone.
Both are almost identical.
Following the success of the first subjects, she began to do the process all over again, introducing 003 and 004 to the world, the former was named Ayako, as the original, the latter as its clone.With the Asylum experiments running according to plan, they were suddenly attacked by the terrorists. Two scientist named Hector and Clive, who took action to protect their project, were separated. Clive took 001 and 004 while Hector took 002 and Ayako. Hector escaped successfully while Clive's whereabouts are unknown. Due to panic and confusion, 001 and 002's identity cannot be determined by Hector without the proper equipment. He did not know if it was the clone or the original. Eventually naming her Kasumi, who, after 15 years, is now living in Saffron. Hiding their identities, they sought refuge on the remnants of Asylum corporation.
Professor Hector was eventually hired by Tesla corporation for engineering SYNX technology and control systems that would benefit him and his village. This, however, is not enough as he is desperate to sustain Saffron, where they lived.This prompted his adoptive daughter Kasumi to volunteer at TESLA as a mercenary and against all odds, she passed the exam. This is the start of their story.
